Yel Rennalls is a first generation Jamaican American hailing from Huntersville, North Carolina by way of Mount Vernon, New York. A graduate of UNC School of the Arts' Drama program, Yel is a screenwriter and performer who tells stories about the mundane, family and personal mythology. Her first short film "Gloworm," is currently in pre-production. Outside of modeling/writing/acting, she moonlights as a regional flight attendant. But in free moments Yel enjoys spending time brainstorming story ideas, reading up on plant medicine/nutrition, testing new recipes and being out in nature for a hike or long walk.
