Mel was born and raised in Brooklyn. She spent most her childhood playing basketball in the parks, school yards, local teams, as well as traveling tournaments. Mel is a dedicated athlete and currently plays basketball and soccer. Aside from sports, she is a huge family person, with 4 sisters, 4 nieces and 1 nephew, and hundreds of cousins. Mel loves being the cool aunt who takes everyone places and buys them toys. Mel has visited 25 states, is outgoing, and gets along with everyone.
