Maureen is a teacher, doctoral student, organizer, single mom and model. Her research interests center how Black girls view themselves and the world. Maureen embodies this concept by creating in front of the camera in order to push boundaries and narratives, so people understand that Black women and girls are not one dimensional, but indeed hold multitudes
