Hi, my name is Ginika Ume-Onyido. I have Nigerian roots and was born in Chicago but spent most of my life growing up in Toronto. I’ve always loved expressing myself through imagery and video and started out as a commercial model about four years ago in Montreal before making my move to New York this year. I express my love for art through modelling while also coding as a web developer by day. I’m an avid reader, and love movies, anime, archery, pilates, and practicing yoga. I started a book club to encourage strangers and friends to continuously seek different perspectives and start discussions. You can always catch me with a book, gummy bears, and sunscreen in my purse!
